What an exciting day! In addition to the huge donation, we also received our official incorporation paperwork back, which means that the Haiti 323 Project is officially a non-profit corporation in the State of Indiana!
They're learning so much!
I am excited to share these photos with you, because they demonstrate how lives are truly changing for our sewing students in Port-de-Paix. Classes started on June 29, and just look at everything they have made this summer! When the students started, they didn't know how to sew, but now they're sewing skirts, blouses, and t-shirts. They are making great progress in learning how to sew, and they are really enjoying the class. One of the best parts about this program is that sewing is a valuable skill that they'll have for the rest of their lives. I will be traveling back to Haiti in October. I am excited to meet our students and teachers in person, and look forward to sharing more photos and stories with you.
The Praiseworthy Deeds of the Lord
Psalm 78:4 is one of my favorite verses. It says, We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.
What an awesome verse. I think these phrases are particularly powerful...
"We will not hide."
"We will tell."
"The praiseworthy deeds of the Lord."
"His power."
"The wonders he has done."
In this world, it is all too easy to take credit for something you didn't do. For example, this ministry is here today, because of God. Not me. He gets ALL the credit. I get the blessing of being chosen, for some unknown reason, to help bring it about, and I am honored.
And that is why...
I will not hide.
I will tell.
The praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.
HIS power.
The wonders HE has done.
I look forward to sharing with you all that God does through this ministry. To Him be the glory!
