We had a wonderful time at the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) that was held in Lexington, KY over the weekend. Thousands of people from the Christian Churches (Church of Christ/Disciples of Christ) attended the conference. In addition to the booths in the exhibit hall, the conference was packed with activities, including ongoing workshops and speakers.
This was our first ICOM appearance, and we were excited to be in a booth next to our mission partner, Waves of Mercy.
We estimate well over a hundred people stopped by the booth to learn about our vocational training programs. People were so impressed to see what our students have made. Diana Ladd of Indianapolis won our apron giveaway.
