Major rainstorm destroys student's home

A major rainstorm wrecked havoc on Port-de-Paix for seven days earlier this week, and now we're seeing the devastation it caused. The torrential rains caused many homes to collapse, often with people still inside. Several children had to be dug out from the mud. Many more homes were flooded, and there are mudslides all across the area. So many people have lost everything they own.

Robenson is a student in our Port-de-Paix sewing class who has been directly affected by this storm. This is all that remains of his home. He's basically lost everything, but we are grateful that God spared his life.

As a ministry, we want to help our students and staff in their times of need so we've established a new, separate Emergency Fund for times like this.

It will cost $1,500 US dollars to rebuild Robenson's home. If you are interested in donating to help Robenson, please click the button below to donate to the Emergency Fund or checks may be mailed to PO Box 35, Sellersburg, IN 47172. Please write "Emergency Fund" in the memo line.

Your gift of any amount is greatly appreciated! Please continue praying for our students, staff, and all those affected by this terrible storm.
