Great is thy faithfulness!

Great is thy faithfulness!
Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed thy hand hath provided.
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Thomas Chisolm

As the New Year dawns on the Haiti 323 Project, it is a great reminder to all of us to reflect upon the faithfulness of God. In the short time since Haiti 323 Project began, we are continually reminded of the faithfulness of God. At the heart of the ministry, is showing the love of Christ to others, but also to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Lord’s passion is people. What better way to be the hands and feet of Christ but to offer up opportunities for the people of Haiti to learn skillsets that will help them in the future but will give them confidence and hope, as well to teach them about Jesus Christ and his love for them?  It is through the partnership with Waves of Mercy in Port-de-Paix and Northwest Haiti Christian Mission in Mole St. Nicolas, that we are able to help the people of Haiti and to create opportunities to not only impact their lives for today, but for the future.

In Deuteronomy 7:9, the Lord was preparing the people of Israel to enter a new land. The Lord knew there would be great challenges in front of his people. But in the ninth verse, he reminded the people who he was. “Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God…”

As the Haiti 323 Project enters a new year, it is unknown what the Lord has planned for our ministry. Yet God is already doing great and wonderful things with donations coming in, including a “massive donation” of sewing supplies. You see God’s faithfulness is already coming to fruition!!! God is at work!

It is easy, especially here in the United States, for us to miss the ways God is working, and the great things that he is doing. But even in those moments where we may not see how he is working, God is continually being faithful.

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you,” (Psalm 32:8). This ministry will only work as long as we listen to the counsel and teaching and guidance of the Lord. As we continue to trust in the Lord, it is the hope of our ministry as 2017 continues to move along that the vocational program will continue its growth, that the current programs will be fully funded. The Haiti 323 Project is still looking for sponsors to help its program in Mole St. Nicolas. And as always we value your prayers as we head into the New Year.

“For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.”
-Psalm 100:5
