The initial group of Kenyan troops has landed in Haiti to assist the local police in tackling the spiraling gang violence.
The reactions from Haitians have been mixed, and only time will tell if this move proves beneficial.
Here's an article from the AP that explains more. You can find additional articles and videos by Googling Kenyans in Haiti.

Working together to create something beautiful
The Port-de-Paix sewing class is now out on summer break, but before they left, their last project was to work together to make a suit jacket.
Here's Marckson modeling their masterpiece. Fantastic work, students! What a great finish to another successful school year.
We’ll see you again in July!
Beautiful New Creations
The Port-de-Paix students recently made outfits for local children. Just look at their sweet faces! We love it when the students give back to their communities.
In addition to the children's clothes, the students also made skirts, dresses, and shirts.
Meanwhile, the Mole St. Nicolas sewing students are learning to make vests. They did a fantastic job!
Things are still bad in Haiti, but despite the challenges, the Lord continues to do great things through the sewing programs.
Thank you for continuing to pray for our students and staff. We hope you enjoy these photos.
