Sewing Supplies Warehouse

Our fabric and sewing supplies donations are stored, sorted, and packed in our Sellersburg, Indiana warehouse. Volunteers help sort and pack supplies throughout the year for our annual shipment to Haiti. The warehouse is mission critical to the ministry.

The warehouse costs $225/month ($2,700/year). Your gift of any amount is greatly appreciated!

Sewing competition benefits local children

Earlier in June, the Port-de-Paix sewing students traveled three hours away to visit the students in the Mole St. Nicolas sewing class. While they were there, the two classes held a sewing competition, planned their graduation ceremonies, played soccer matches, and spent time together at the beach.

For the sewing competition, the students made a variety of clothes for the boys and girls who live in the Mole St. Nicolas children's home. Here's some photos from the competition. The Port-de-Paix sewing students are wearing the white and red shirts, while the Mole St. Nicolas students are wearing the orange shirts. They did a fantastic job!

Learning how to make vests

The Port-de-Paix and Mole St. Nicolas sewing students have been busy this spring learning how to make vests. Guerby, pictured below, is a student in the Port-de-Paix sewing program and he took the assignment a step further and made a pair of matching pants. We love the students' enthusiasm and creativity.

Thank you again for your continued support of the sewing students! Your support equips these students with a practical skill that they can use and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
