The crates have arrived

We’re excited to announce that our annual sewing supplies shipment has arrived safely in Port-de-Paix and Mole St. Nicolas, Haiti! Both classes unpacked their crates this past week, and they loved seeing all of the beautiful fabric and sewing supplies that was generously donated.

Special thank you to everyone who donated, and who volunteered their time to help pack supplies. It’s no small task getting everything packed and sent down to Haiti. We’re grateful for your continued support.

Final Give For Good Louisville Total

We just received word that in addition to the AMAZING $12,755 that was raised on September 17 as part of the Give For Good Louisville campaign, we also secured an additional $2,592.60 in bonus dollars for reaching over 90 donors and sharing in the bonus pools for southern Indiana non-profits!

This brings our final Give For Good Louisville 2020 total to a record-shattering $15,347.60! A 37% increase over last year.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who participated in this year's Give For Good Louisville. Your donations truly make a difference to our sewing students, and we are blessed by your generosity.

Our graduates are top notch

A few weeks ago we shared a photo of Wilson, a 2018 graduate from our Port-de-Paix sewing program, wearing a beautiful sport coat that he recently made. Well here's fellow sewing program graduate, Schneider, modeling a suit he recently made. He made the pants, shirt and jacket. Nice work, Schneider!

We’re overjoyed to see our sewing program graduates continue to master their craft. This wouldn’t be possible without people who believe in the programs and believe in helping our students create a better life for themselves and their families. Vocational training isn’t a quick fix, but the skills learned in our training programs last a lifetime.
