We're thrilled to announce that our Port-de-Paix sewing class is moving to a new classroom! The new classroom is on the bottom floor of the old Waves of Mercy church. It is much more spacious than our old classroom, and now the instruction and sewing lab will be in the same room. It also has more natural light than our old classroom.
I have spent a lot of time in that church over the years. If you would have told me on my first visit to Haiti in 2012 that one day I was going to start a sewing program, and that church was going to be the classroom - I would have said you were crazy. I never would have dreamed that. Not in a million years.
But, God knew.
He knew from the very beginning what He was going to do, and how He was going to orchestrate it. We serve a mighty God, and it is such a great privilege to tell "...the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done." Psalm 78:4.
We are so excited about this move, and all the possibilities it will bring. It is conveniently located a short walk from the new Waves of Mercy church and campus, which makes this an ideal location for our program.
