One year ago today, we started our first sewing program at the Waves of Mercy school in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. Since then, each student has learned vital skills that they will be able to use throughout the rest of their lives.

WOW - what an awesome surprise! THANK YOU Mieke for shipping us 32 more patterns (plus some other sewing supplies)! This means we actually collected 85 patterns! That's 45 more patterns than our original goal. Bondye bon! (Haitian Creole for "God is Good").
Well we set out to collect 40 patterns and we exceeded our goal - 53 patterns collected! God really blessed us, because the patterns were on sale for about $2/piece so we were able to buy more than we originally anticipated. Thank you very much to everyone who participated in this supplies drive.
Speaking of supplies drives, we wanted to let you know that we will be taking a break from our monthly supplies drives, because we have some exciting new opportunities in the works!
